Frequently asked questions

Updated: Jun 18, 2026

Welcome! This FAQ explains the basics of DailyHero: what parents and children can do, how points and rewards work, what limits apply, and where to get help.

What is DailyHero?

DailyHero is an iPhone app for family tasks, routines, points, and rewards. Parents create tasks and rewards, children mark tasks as done, and parents decide when points are awarded.

Who is DailyHero for?

DailyHero is built for families where parents want a simple way to manage everyday tasks and small rewards with their children.

What can parents do in DailyHero?

Parents can create and manage child profiles, add tasks, review completed tasks, approve or reject them, create rewards, and redeem rewards using the child’s points.

What can children do in DailyHero?

Children can see their tasks, mark tasks as done, and follow their points and available rewards. Parent-only actions stay with the parent account.

How do points and rewards work?

A child earns points only after a parent approves a completed task. Rewards use the child’s available points when a parent redeems them.

What limits are included in the free version?

The free version currently supports up to 5 active child profiles per family. Each child can have up to 20 active tasks and up to 5 active rewards.

What counts as active?

An active task or reward is available for the child to use now. Archived tasks and rewards do not count toward these limits. Inactive or deleted child profiles do not count toward the active child profile limit.

What happens if my family reaches a limit?

Your existing data stays available. Creating or restoring more active profiles, tasks, or rewards may be blocked until you make room. Archive tasks or rewards you no longer need, then create a new one.

Do the same limits apply when I use DailyHero with an AI assistant?

Yes. The same DailyHero limits apply whether a parent creates tasks or rewards in the app or through a connected AI app. AI assistants cannot bypass DailyHero limits.

Can an AI assistant approve tasks or redeem rewards?

No. Connected AI apps can help create tasks or rewards when you allow it, but approvals, rejections, redemptions, and point changes stay inside DailyHero.

Can I see how many items I have left?

DailyHero does not currently have a single screen showing all remaining limits. Some creation flows may show a small limit hint. If creation is blocked, review the child’s active tasks or rewards and archive what you no longer need.

Can I increase these limits?

DailyHero does not currently offer paid limit increases. If available limits or plan options change, we’ll update this FAQ.

How do I delete my account or request my data?

Use the app’s account and privacy options where available, or contact us at support@dailyhero.ink for help with account or data requests.

How do I contact support?

Write to us at support@dailyhero.ink. If you are reporting a problem, include what happened, which screen you were using, and any details that could help us reproduce it.
